1 A few of modules do not brighten up successively or unusually: To check if the flat cable and power line and electric feeder of the first abnormal module at the direction of signals are connected well. If no LED on modules turns on, it indicates there is no supply input, please check the power supply with multi-meter. In case of dotted colors (messy bright spots with colors), it indicates that there is no signal input for the module, please check if the input port of flat cable of the first unusual module is connected tightly, you can make the unplug and plug test repeatedly. If it cannot remove the troubles, please replace with new flat cable. 2 Single mode unit does not brighten up: To check if the power supply of this module is well, mainly check if the power socket for this module is loose. In case of the messy colors or inconsistent colors of the whole module, (but with signal input and correct images), it’s due to the poor connection of signal transmission flat cable, please re-plug in the flat cable, or replace the tested flat cable. When the trouble still exists after having replaced with the sound flat cable, please check if there is something wrong with the interface of PCB.
3 Inspection method used when the single lamp does not turn on: Use the multimeter to examine if the LED is damaged, if yes, just replace it as per Item 5 below. Detailed lamp inspection method: Turn the multimeter to Gear X1 of resistance, connect the black meter pen of pointer multimeter to the anode of LED, the red meter pen to the cathode (the black meter pen of digital meter is connected to cathode and the red meter pen of it is connected to anode). If LED turns on, the tested lamp is qualified; and if LED does not turn on, the tested lamp is unqualified.
4 Maintenance of LED failure spot (out-of-control point): If LED is proven damaged by the single lamp inspection, just apply the following maintenance methods selectively as per the actual situation.
4-1 Maintenance of facade: Use the screw driver in corresponding model to remove the screws of fixed shield (pay attention to protect the screws), get out the shield to exchange lamps according to the following method of lamp exchange. Upon completion of lamp exchange and glue seal, put the shield back and secure the screws (please do not press the lamp upon securing screws), finally get rid of the glue remained on the surfaces of LED.
4-2 Maintenance of backside: Use the screw driver in corresponding model to remove the screws on the backside (pay attention to protect the screws), disconnect the signal flat cable, please do not disconnect/unplug the power line for the sake of safety to avoid any unexpected accidents. Get out the module out from the sheet-metal hole careful and move it to the backside of case, then maintain the single modules and exchange lamp according to the maintenance method of front side (please exchange lamp as per the following method) or do other trouble-shooting actions.
5 Lamp exchange: Remove the glue around the damaged LED with sharp tool, such as nipper, and make the LED pin expose clearly. Clip LED with nipper by right hand and contact the tin solder with brand iron by left hand (keep the temperature approximately 400, too high temperature will damage LED), hole on for a while less than 3 seconds, too much time will not meet the dismantling requirement, please re-try after cleaning it, to melt the tin solder, and then remove LED with nipper. Plug the qualified LED into the hole of PCB, (the longer pin of LED is anode and shorter pin is the cathode, the upper hole on PCB is for the positive pin hole of LED, the round hole is for the negative pin hole of LED). Melt the spot of tin solder, stick it to the iron head, adjust LED direction with the nipper to flatten it, solder the tin solder on the joint of LED and PCB, and in the end seal the LED with the glue in the same type (PH=7).
